Hey there! I'm LynnMarie and I've been designing and making random silly stuff since I was a kid. My first project was a plain red cross stitch [ all it had was red x's - lol ] made for my mom in 1974 that said "HomeSweetHome" - even before cross stitch was a thing, I just invented it for fun.  During this time mom made me sew my own school clothes, but I hated it! I was embarrassed to have to wear handmade clothes to school. Now, I'm very grateful to her.

I once made a dress that had little ladybugs all over it. There was a repeat motif that said "Don't bug me!" all over with little purple ladybugs everywhere.  I was completely mortified she made me wear it. But guess what, I would give my left arm to have that dress again!

One summer, I took 3 small oval river rocks and a piece of driftwood from a nearby lake; to make a "stand" and made mom a little family with the rocks. Glued them side by side on the wood, painted faces on each rock; one for the three of us. She kept it hanging in the kitchen for years. Decades later I went to go find my little treasure but it was nowhere to be found. I finally found one of the little rocks thrown on the ground in the bushes and it made me sad. The other 2 fledglings were never recovered :(

I self taught myself to crochet to relieve boredom as a young expectant mother. Now, I can usually be found hunkered down working simultaneously on 2-3 projects at a time [ I bore easily ]  ...

So all the $$ that comes in from this venture is going to be used to help fund a documentary I'm executive producing, called DogWarFilm. Its a story of 2 retired ex marines and how they are hoping to put a stop to the gruesome dog meat trade. Dog War Film
